Bios are traditionally written in third person, but I’m breaking from the mold here.
I’ve always enjoyed writing, I began writing poems as a teen , then later became a journalist and an author. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism from Western Illinois University and a former member of the Illinois Press Association.I have worked as a carpenter, painter, news correspondent, staff writer, researcher and newspaper editor. I co-authored a book about child abuse with my friend Jean Jaramillo called the Grip of Fear.I am currently retired, live in Central Florida, do leather working, blogging, reading and enjoy motorcycle riding.
